corporate background

Founded in 1994 and based in Highbury, London, Windows & SQL Programmers Ltd is a small rapidly expanding software consultancy and IT service company offering bespoke software development and management services to medium and large enterprises in the financial services, banking and across a range of diverse industry sectors.

We specialise in business application and database design, development, implementation, and support and maintenance. Our technology focus is the Microsoft platforms and how these products are used and interact in a large enterprise. We understand the technology, the business issues, problems and challenges and we can effectively translate these into agile systems that contribute to business success. We can help develop the enabling technology for knowledge workers to focus on business goals rather than tasks and systems.

Windows & SQL Programmers Ltd provides custom business solutions on the desktop, for a small group of key workers, an entire department, or for your whole enterprise, across your network or delivered via the Internet using strong project management, analysis, design and quality assurance techniques.

Our services include in-house or on-site project management, business analysis, software development and support where project scope can range from a single application to support for a full-scale business management system. WINSQL.COM's application development competencies span multiple platforms.

Serving our customers is the foundation of Windows & SQL Programmers Ltd. To ensure consistency of service, we are committed to achieving ISO9001 accreditation. We are committed to maximising the potential of our finest resource – our people through the nationally recognised Investor in People business development initiative. These initiative help us focus on our most important assets – our clients.

We apply engineering principles to software design and construction to maximise quality: envision, plan, build, and stabilise. Our development process makes rigorous use requirements, specifications, visual design, development methodologies and coding standards, quality assurance, version control, project management, incident tracking and management and change control.

Windows & SQL Programmers Ltd has a dedicated team of project managers, business analysts, technical architects, software developers and designers. We clearly understand the software management and integration challenges in large enterprise multi-vendor environments. We have extensive experience integrating DB2/400, Oracle, Sybase and other UNIX hosted databases with Windows- based applications. We also have expertise with IBM MQSeries architecture and Mysis Meridian backoffice integration platform.

We leverage a wide range of industry standard development tools such as Visual Studio .NET, Visual Basic, Visual C#, HTML and scripting technologies, XML, ASP and ASP.NET, SQL Server and OLAP services, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS), Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ), IBM MQSeries, Misys Meridian, Microsoft Site Server and Microsoft Office and internet technologies. All our software development is subjected to strict quality control. All Microsoft guidelines for system development are followed.
